The pre-market breaking news penny stock scanner organizes low-priced US equity movers alongside their latest available catalysts. By default, it shows stocks trading below $5, ranked by percentage change. You can switch to the $1–$5 band, stocks under $1 or the broader under-$10 group. The two upstream feeds are merged and deduplicated so each symbol appears once. Price bands describe the feed price, not the company’s value or financial strength.
News can explain why a low-priced stock is attracting attention, but a headline is only one part of the picture. Each visible mover can show its latest available headline from the last 24 hours, the publisher and an age label. Headlines less than an hour old receive a NEW badge. Links open the original publisher’s article; this page does not reproduce the full story. Coverage is not guaranteed, and a blank catalyst means no recent headline was available to this lookup.
The Only stocks with news toggle narrows the visible research list to movers with an available recent headline. Read the entire original article, check its timestamp and distinguish an announced event from speculation or promotional language. A large percentage move can follow many different events and does not establish the quality of a business. Percentage change, volume and relative volume should be considered together rather than as isolated signals.
Low-priced stocks can have thin liquidity, wide spreads and abrupt reversals. The displayed price may differ from an executable quote, and missing feed metrics are left blank instead of estimated. This is a scanner for organizing research, not a broker, execution venue or recommendation service. Position sizing, liquidity checks and independent verification remain the responsibility of the person making any trading decision.
Results are for members: a 3-day free trial (card required, cancel anytime during the trial) unlocks the complete list with available news, live updates and all filters. Outside an active session, or when the live feed is empty, the latest available snapshot is clearly labeled with its capture time. Session timing follows Eastern Time, and the countdown excludes weekends and known market holidays. This information is educational and informational only and is not investment advice.
