A pre-market stock scanner for day trading brings the available US equity movers into one research view before the opening bell. This page starts with percentage change, placing larger moves first, and pairs each visible symbol with price, traded volume and relative volume when the feed provides it. The combined scanner feeds are deduplicated by symbol so a stock does not appear twice. A higher percentage change is a sorting rule, not a recommendation to buy.
Read Gap % together with participation. A move on light volume may behave differently from one attracting sustained activity, and relative volume can add context when it is available. Missing metrics remain blank: we do not manufacture volume or news values. During pre-market, the percentage-change column is useful for identifying gappers; during regular or extended trading, it reflects the current feed move rather than a fixed opening gap.
Catalysts provide a starting point for research. For visible movers, the scanner looks up the latest available headline from the previous 24 hours and links directly to the original publisher. A missing headline does not prove there is no news. Coverage may be unavailable, delayed or absent for a particular symbol. Read the original article and check the company’s own announcements before drawing conclusions from a headline.
The session badge follows America/New_York time, including daylight-saving changes. When markets are closed or the live feed is empty, the page uses the latest available daily snapshot and labels its capture time. Historical movers are not live quotes. The countdown identifies the next scheduled pre-market opening, while weekend and known holiday closures are excluded.
